Decree # 2574-14 (EMC) and Decree # 2573-14 (LVD) both from July 16th 2015, and came into force on April 12th, 2016.

Decree # 2574-14 (EMC) establishes specific technical regulations for electromagnetic compatibility of equipment, excluding wireless and telecommunications terminals and other types of equipment such as power supplies and ac dc adapters, and Decree # 2573-14 (LVD) stipulates technical regulations for electrical material destined to be employed at a nominal tension between 50 – 1000 volts for AC, and 75-1500 for DC.
